French and Hungarian, Ilona grew up in Paris, then in Luxembourg City where she obtained a bilingual baccalaureate from the European School.Driven by her quest for meaning and consistency, she studied philosophy both at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and at ULSH – Université Libre des Sciences de l’Homme.For the following years Ilona gives her full attention to family life and to the raising of her children. All the while, she remains active and accepts short-term assignments in public relations in Zurich where she lived between 1992 and 2007.
Her own multicultural background and international experience gave her food for thoughts regarding identity building, professional efficiency and how to find a balance in changing contexts.She became a certified coach in 2004 and started counselling international managers and their families to help them overcome intercultural issues. She coaches in French, English and German. After 22 years spent abroad, Ilona moved to Lyon in 2007. There, she widens her areas of expertise by specialising in career transition counselling, training as well as team-building.
Driven by the notions of common good, sense of purpose and cooperation, she deals with her clients with the greatest of respect when looking with them for tailor-made solutions. Ilona possesses the listening skills, the ability to ask the right questions and a constructive approach that will assist her clients in their professional and personal growth: leadership and managerial skills development, identity and professional issues, implementation of collective intelligence.
